The MPC's festive season draws to a close

The MPC is entering the home strait of the festive season with only one more performance until Christmas . It’s been a very busy December filled with the usual array of carol services, charity events, Metropolitan Police performances and, of course, our own Christmas Concerts which was a sell out again this year. There is now just the Trafalgar Square bucket collecting event left before another Christmas season is over and done with.

Always a favourite part of the choir’s year (and especially our Musical Director’s) we learnt plenty of new music to entertain our friends and families in mid December at our concerts held in St James Church, Paddington We also found time to sing in Westminster Abbey to support the police’s annual main carol service for 2,000 guests and several borough carol services including the ever-popular Westminster South service held at the beautiful church of St Barnabas in Pimlico.

It’s always a jampacked schedule but we wouldn’t change it for anything. Merry Christmas to all our supporters and readers. And our best wishes for a safe and happy 2025!
